Looking for ways to support your elementary child? Or are you just trying to understand WHY your kiddo just turned 6 and is all the sudden like a different person? Come hang out, I’ve got your back.
As Montessorians, we need to have each others back. Our work, while fantastic, amazing, and SO much fun, is tough. I wanted to create a place to gather my systems to share with other who are looking for ideas on how to run their classrooms. We are all in this work together!
When the pandemic hit, I have to go to virtual learning. I’m not going to lie, it was definitely not my cup of tea. However, through that time I made around 100 videos of lessons that I shared with my children. Come take a peek to see what lessons are like, and feel free to share!
An elementary Montessori classroom is a wonder to behold. It is a buzz of activity where children can explore their interests to their farthest reaches. It is often a busy and exciting place that crescendos with laughter and joy. There are often grand art projects, deep dives into animal studies, and yes, at time, smelly experiments. My blog goes over Montessori in the elementary years, as well as follows the work happening in my classroom. Come check it out.
